Lea Ryynänen-Karjalainen, PhD, has been appointed as a Vice President, Public Sector, at Cerion Solutions, as of March 7th, 2011.

She has acted as a Vice President at the Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, a Development Director at the EVTEK University of Applied Sciences, as a Senior Adviser for the Director General and a Scientific Secretary for the Research Council for Culture and Society at the Academy of Finland, and in different expert and administrative tasks at the University of Art and Design Helsinki and at the Sibelius Academy. She has acted also as an expert to the European Commission.

Cerion Solutions Oy has been accepted as a Corporate Member of European University Information Systems Association (EUNIS) in meeting held in Dublin 6-7.11.2010. EUNIS, which was founded in 1993, is leading European organisation for experts and organizations responsible for information systems in higher education sector. There are active members in 30 European countries.
